Fwd: pcm file plugin usage

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I've been trying to write up some code to use the snd_pcm_file_open
functions and I've been struggling to get them to work.

Could someone please provide a basic example of how to go about using
this plugin?

I'm trying to write an application that can receive all sound from the
default pcm via a pipe.
I've had some success using .asoundrc, to achieve this. However, this
starts up very early and the file size blows up very quickly.

Thanks
Guru
