Howdy; I'm running Kubuntu 12.04, and just installed a new 64 bit mother board, along with the 64 bit version of 12.04. I'm currently using the on-board sound setup. The sound comes up just fine when booting up, but when I try to use aplay, I get the following error: aplay train.wav ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1018:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave aplay: main:682: audio open error: No such file or directory Anyone know how to fix this?
