Creative Labs [SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio]

I have combed the internet regarding this card & linux. According to some, it's supported by ALSA and they have gotten it working . I am having issues w/ mint & ubuntu. Please someone help me :((((((

note: i have alsa dailys installed, otherwise no driver is associated with the card at all
