Hi Clemens,

    The Linux 3.17 kernel has built-in driver support the C-Media CM8826/CM8828 HD Audio device.

 

How to port the ALSA driver in kernel 3.17 to old kernel 2.6.32? Could you help to customize for kernel 2.6.32?

What we'd need is not a plan but hardware information from C-Media.

PCIe/PCI bridges work just fine.  Why do you want a native interface?
