Hi, I appear to have static noise on headphones with the default settings of the driver by tinkering with hdaanalyzer i could "kill the noise" i had to mute Val[2] and Val[3] of the following : Node 0x0c [Audio Mixer] wcaps 0x20010b: Stereo Amp-In Amp-In caps: ofs=0x00, nsteps=0x00, stepsize=0x00, mute=1 Amp-In vals: [0x00 0x00] [0x00 0x00] Connection: 2 0x02 0x0b It seems i can't access these with alsamixer Could there be a fix ? Thanks, Yannick by the way : $ lspci | grep -i audio 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 8 Series/C220 Series Chipset High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04) 01:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GK106 HDMI Audio Controller (rev a1) $ cat /proc/asound/cards 0 [PCH ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH HDA Intel PCH at 0xdc110000 irq 45 1 [NVidia ]: HDA-Intel - HDA NVidia HDA NVidia at 0xdc080000 irq 17 $ aplay -l **** Liste des Périphériques Matériels PLAYBACK **** carte 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], périphérique 0: ALC3229 Analog [ALC3229 Analog] Sous-périphériques: 1/1 Sous-périphérique #0: subdevice #0 carte 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], périphérique 1: ALC3229 Digital [ALC3229 Digital] Sous-périphériques: 1/1 Sous-périphérique #0: subdevice #0 carte 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], périphérique 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0] Sous-périphériques: 1/1 Sous-périphérique #0: subdevice #0 carte 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], périphérique 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1] Sous-périphériques: 1/1 Sous-périphérique #0: subdevice #0 $ cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep Codec Codec: Realtek ALC3229 Codec: Nvidia GPU 41 HDMI/DP ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list Alsa-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
