I have on board sound with an ALC892 which is reported to be supported.
The issue is that I have no sound, no input and no output.
I checked with alsamixer that the channels are unmuted.
Then I tried speaker-test beside the Ubuntu audio setup tools.
I assume that pulseaudio uses alsa to produce sound, also assuming
that the alsa tools are not influenced by the Ubuntu pulse audio setup.
Is there something I could try to get some sound?
PS: And yes, I checked the cabling with different headsets and speakers.
