ALC660 problem (notebook ASUS w7j)

Hello, Alsa-user!

I have ASUS W7J laptop.
Earlier Linux OS (kernel 3.1.6) was installed and there sound was established after installation, i.e. start of alsaconf was made and the sound card was defined as HDA Intel ALC660 after that the sound appeared only after prescription of a "magic" line in / etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=asus-laptop
and OS reboot.

After installation the new version Linux OS on laptop (kernel 3.9.7) alsaconf can't define the sound card.

calculate ~ # cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#* | grep Codec
Codec: Realtek ALC660
Codec: Motorola Si3054

calculate ~ # lspci -v | grep -A10 Audio
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 1253
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 45

Capabilities: [70] Express Root Complex Integrated Endpoint, MSI 00
Capabilities: [100] Virtual Channel
Capabilities: [130] Root Complex Link
Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel
Kernel modules: snd_hda_intel

calculate ~ # aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC660 Analog [ALC660 Analog]
Subdevices: 0/1

Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 6: Si3054 Modem [Si3054 Modem]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

With the alsa-tools installation there is usr/bin/hda-verb, but isn't clear as it it is possible to use for sound control.

If to look in /Documentation/sound/alsa/HD-Audio-Models.txt, there it is possible to see
ALC861/660
==========
N/A

, does it mean that support of this sound card from any version of a kernel is got was stopped?

What it is necessary to do that the sound again appeared in system?
