JFTR I didn't read the link. I don't care about it. My RME HDSPe AIO only recognize 2 of 8 ADAT channels, but I don't care. If you decide to use Linux, as I do, you and I should know why we do it and what drawbacks it has got. Sure, for FreeBSD and Windows, I installed both just to test the card, it works and sure, the developer of the driver will call you a troll, if you file a bug report. If you care about such issues, don't use Linux. That's it!
