Hi Clemens,

Thank you for your patches! I,ve tried forcing jack and...everything right!! Now, with your help, I've a Roland UA55 that works under linux (and this new kernel works fine with my hardware...)!

When our project will begin, I'll put a big "thank you ALSA" in our site... (at this time, you can take a look to https://www.facebook.com/RedPlasticLabel )!

These messages are related with the device reservation API, which
PulseAudio and Jack use to prevent from stepping on each other's toes.
I don't know what's going wrong here; try killing PulseAudio explicitly.
