Little dancing bears rushed out the kitchen and attacked your ankle? Do you know what the sound card is on the Asus EEE 1001PX? Is sound working at all-- ie if you play a sound file, does it play? Does it beep, gurggle or whistle at all? The web page http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/Eee_PC_1001PX_Seashell/#specifications seems to be saying that the machine has no audio at all. Is this right? Have you ever heard sounds come from it, or had it record anything? (Other places seem to suggest that it does have a sound card).
