Realtek ALC1200 - no CD control in alsamixer

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

After upgrading my OS there is no CD control in alsamixer. I have an Intel HDA
onboard chip and Realtec ALC1200 codec.

It worked before because an older alsa version detected the codec incorrecly as,
I think, ALC888. If I remember correctly, alsmixer started displaying the CD
slider after I addded "options snd-hda-intel model=6stack-dig" to
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.

Now with the new OS the alsa 1.0.25 version detects the codec correctly but the
CD control is not showing even after trying out various snd-hda-intel options.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the output from alsa-info.sh:
<http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9346438/alsa/alsa-info-output.txt>

The motheboard is "ASUS P6T SE - Intel X58":

Thanks,
