I've borrowed now a saffire 7 usb focusrite and I'm trying it on Ubuntu 0412
The card is recognized.
After
cat /proc/asound/cardsI get
0 [Intel ]: HDA-Intel - HDA IntelBut I can't get sound out of it. I tried it with

HDA NVidia at 0xe3080000 irq 17
3 [S6USB20 ]: USB-Audio - Saffire 6USB2.0
Focusrite Saffire 6USB2.0 at usb-0000:05:00.0-2, high speed
mplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=S6USB20 myfile.mp3
but I got
Failed to initialize audio driver 'alsa:device=hw=S6USB20'Also I can't find an interface called usb or saffire in qjackctl. What can I do now?
