I have never patched alsa before. Is there a guide or documentation that might help me with this? I'm working with an out of the box Linux distro. I'm not exactly sure about what packages I would need to remove from my system, what source packages I would need to compile (I see driver, firmware, library, etc. on the download page), and how to install/test them after recompiling.
