I have one of these expecting good chance of ALSA working because it has a C-Media chipset. Worked out mostly, I get 5.1 sounds, mixer etc and audio quality is good. `lsusb` identifies it as a C-Media. However, it is still only being detected as a generic USB card and I don't have a second subdevice for S/PDIF. Any hope to get S/PDIF working on this one? I need SPDIF *in* more than out. %% Best Connectivity SD-AUD20040 http://www.amazon.com/Best-Connectivity-SD-AUD20040-Channel-USB-2-0/dp/B003L5D0Q2/ref=lh_ni_t Based on Cmedia CM6206 7.1 card 2: Device [USB Sound Device], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 Bus 005 Device 006: ID 0d8c:0102 C-Media Electronics, Inc.
