You didn't say where or how these messages appear, but if they're on the
console or in a terminal, you can try Ctrl+S/Ctrl+Q to suspend/resume
the current process.

They appear on my screen (console) when my system is waking up from a suspended state. The show up briefly immediately prior to the Gnome log-in screen.
