Hi All,

I've recently switched to a distro that doesn't use pulseaudio
fully so I'm stuck manually editing my asoundrc to get HDMI
working. I've never successfully done it after many tries
so I'm here.

Here is my aplay -l

card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: STAC92xx Analog [STAC92xx Analog]
  Subdevices: 0/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: Audio [USB Audio], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

And my lspci | grep Audio

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller
(rev 03)

I need it to work with my entire system including flash, XBMC & VLC. Thanks in
advance for any assistance
