Greetings, I'm considering getting an MAudio Fast Track MkII and I'm trying to finish up whatever administrative loose ends there still are with the following patch: https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=3249 At the bottom of the patch comments in April of 2011, wahnby wrote the following: "I wrote to user mailing list about patch integration. Answer was : Please provide the Signed-off-by tag for all authors of the patch. So authors if you see this message..." So I contacted Pavel Polischouk directly, and he said he already signed off-- I pasted his response below. The other people who added patches to the tracker are: marled: usbaudio-ftp-2.6.35-4.patch undersys: usbaudio-ftp-2.6.31.patch vogelchr: sound-usb-usbaudio-c-2-6-22.1.patch Did these other authors already sign off, or is the functionality of those patches already included in the kernel by now (I'm mostly interested in 3.0 since that's what I'm using)? If they need to sign off, then how do I track them down? And what exactly is a "signed-off-by tag" anyway, and who has the authority to create one? Thanks, Jonathan *** >________________________________ >From: Pavel Polischouk <pavel.polischouk@xxxxxxxxx> >To: Jonathan Wilkes <jancsika@xxxxxxxxx> >Sent: Wednesday, September 28, 2011 11:29 PM >Subject: Re: ALSA patch for MAudio Fast Track > > >I wrote the sign off in the private email thread including Takashi, he said later in the thread he was applying the patch.
