Hi group, I am working on a project that requires DTMF generation for remote controlling of devices. I found a PHP file on the Internet that can create an AU file. With the author's permission, I have modified it to work from the command line. My problem is that aplay does not play the file, no sound. It plays fine with mplayer. I am running Fedora 13 on a x86-64 Acer laptop. aplay --version aplay: version 1.0.23 by Jaroslav Kysela <perex@xxxxxxxx> file dtmf.au dtmf.au: Sun/NeXT audio data: 8-bit linear PCM [REF-PCM], mono, 8000 Hz The source can be found at: http://64.124.13.3/projects/DTMF/DTMF.html Any help would be appreciated. --
