"Channels count non available" error using aplay

Good afternoon!

I'm having a weird issue with the latest Alsa snapshot.

When I play a WAV file using aplay and the default output, I have no
problem, but if I try:

$ aplay -D hw:0,0 /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Noise.wav
Playing WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Noise.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little
Endian, Rate 48000 Hz, Mono aplay: set_params:1059: Channels count non
available

The same happens if I try with any other hw:X,Y. It only works using
the default configuration. I don't have asound.conf or .asoundrc
configuration files.

Regards and thanks in advance.
