Here's what I'm trying to do, though I'm not sure it's possible. I have one application that takes input via the line-in port on my computer It then processes the sound and outputs the audio to the speakers I want to take the audio destined for the speakers and re-route it to another program that is not alsa aware. It's looking to open /dev/dsp, which reports busy if i try to load both programs currently Is there a way to take the output from the first application and redirect it into a /dev device for input into this second program? I poked around the net, but could not find anything that related, I'm running Centos 5.5 i386 latest patches Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Beautiful is writing same markup.
