Alsa plugin configuration

Hello All,

I currently have an Asus P6T motherboard with the Realtek ALC1200 (Intel) HD audio chipset. Audio works great with the plugs in the back. However, it will not detect and change input to the microphone and headphone jack located on the front of the PC. If I manually change the input in alsamixer, the microphone works fine, however if I use an alsactl store, it will not retain the info that the microphone input should be the front jack. Also, if I plug in the headphones, I can hear music on the headphones, but it doesn't mute the main speakers. I know this functionality works, as when I was running windows, it would do this without a problem. I have tried just about every model in the module options, but I haven't had any luck yet. Has anyone gotten this working yet?

Thanks in advance!
Phil
