Permanently assigning USB sound cards addresses

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

My project (which I wrote about a couple of days ago) involves using multiple USB sound cards to record radio broadcasts using arecord. But I noticed last night that when I rebooted the machine, all of the ALSA addresses were reassigned; what was at 1,0 was at 3,0 and so on.

Are there any other relatively simple ways to permanently assign individual sound cards to their respective ALSA addresses besides using udev?

Thanks in advance,
