Hi all. I have since managed to figure out my headphone issues; however, the
HDMI port, presumably coming off my NVidia GTX280M card, doesn't get detected by
the snd_hda_intel driver. I have tried compiling the modules for all available
HDMI codecs, with no success. Since the main hda_intel driver was not finding
the HDMI port via its autoprobing mechanism, I attempted loading both the
snd-hda-codec-intelhdmi and snd-hda-codec-nvhdmi modules, with no success; there
was no relevant output from aplay -l, or aplay -L. AM I missing something, or is
this type of configuration currently not supported? Please let me know what sort
of additional information would be most relevant, and I will be happy to provide
it. Thanks.
