Re: sound capture does not work

thanks for the message!

I have tried the record command you suggested,
but the recording doesn't work. See transcript below.

$ arecord -D default:Omega -f dat test.wav

ALSA lib conf.c:3952:(snd_config_expand) Unknown parameters Omega
ALSA lib pcm.c:2202:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default:Omega
arecord: main:590: audio open error: Invalid argument
 
I still have no idea on how to make sound capture work.
(But I've heard that others have the Lexicon Omega working under ALSA).

This message doesn't tell anything useful.

Does "arecord -D default:Omega -f dat test.wav" work?
