I try once again and this problem exist only when add to arecord option -c2 -I.
For example if I record sound from 2 microphone like this:
arecord -r 8000 -f S16_LE -d2 -c2 -I file_one.raw
then I could play this only if use
aplay -f S8 -r 16000 file_one.raw.0
And the sound are very low.
Of course everything is all right when I don't use option "-c2 -I" The sound is clear, audiable Even If I use option "arecord -I " I will get the record sound with good level.
I don't understand this because I want aplay -f S16_LE -r8000 file_one.raw.0
I think I lost level when read only half of each sample ( S8 => S16) and music is in normal rate when change 8000 => 16000. Also I can change aplay -f S16_LE [...] => aplay -f S16_BE [...] Then aplay will read the right part of each sample but not this one which contain my music :( The problem still exist - low level of capture sound.
I just want to record separate channels - one file for one channel. On audiophile24/96 it's impossible? Or maybay could somebody propose me other program?
Best regards
Mark

Hello!
I try to record a music on my audiophile24/96 but the signal is low. I hear something but it's almost silent. I'm using arecord and other applications.
I change in envy24control and alsamixer to max. value but nothing change.
Could somebody help me and explain me what's wrong - maybe I need preamp or use other -D or change some configuration?
Best wishes
Mark
