Hi there, regarding my other webcam microphone issue I now know where the problem is... With this command I can record voice with my webcam just fine: arecord -vv -D hw:1,0 -c 1 -f S16_LE --rate=18000-v test.wav But, I always have to specify the 18000 Hz sample rate. How or better asked where can I set that sample rate, so every program that uses that microphone use it at the 18000 Hz?
