Hi there, when I use Skype 2.0.0.72 on Linux I get an error: RtApiAlsa: callback thread error (RtApiAlsa: audio write error for device (C- Media CMI8738 (hw:CMI8738,0)): unknown error 405.) ... closing stream. I did not have problems before when I use my good old Soundblaster Live! and so I wonder, are there any known issues with the CMedia 8738 chip? Do you think I could get rid of this Skype issue when I upgrade to a CMedia 8768 chip?
