Hi all,
I've an Intel DG45FC (G45) motherboard and I've no sound with the latest
kernels. The last known working kernel is 2.6.27.12 (alsa 1.0.17) and
since that time I can't get any sound. At the moment I'm using 2.6.30-rc7
(alsa 1.0.20).
I've tried to change all alsamixer settings, all ao settings for mplayer I
can think, all options for driver (model, probe_mask etc), but I've no
sound on the optical output (which I want to use), neither on analog
outputs, neither on hdmi.
the differences I've seen between working kernel and the others :
- now the driver support hdmi sound output
- /proc/asound/pcm listing order has been reversed (which disturbs my
linux distribution, but I can get ride of this)
can someone point me to what I am missing to make the soundcard to work
with latest kernels?
