Hello I use CentOS 5.3 with kernel 2.6.18-128.1.10.el5 sound card HDA Intel with Chip Realtek ALC882 With aplay I have sound with aplay -D front:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 /usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav aplay -vv -D surround40:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 /usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav aplay -vv -D surround51:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 /usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav but no sound with aplay /usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav aplay -vv -D surround41:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 /usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav aplay -vv -D surround50:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 /usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav and the message : aplay: set_params:932: Broken configuration for this PCM: no configurations available What does that mean ?
