Hi All,

This is my first post to the mailing list and I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to alsa.

I have been poking around and trying to figure out how to capture at 96000 and 24 bit samples.

I've looked at this page:

http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php/M-Audio_FastTrack_Pro

And attempted to apply the options for the kernel module to enable 96000 but I have had no luck.

I'm running 64-bit Unbutu 9.04.  My /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf contains:

options    snd_usb_audio    vid=0x763 pid=0x2012 device_setup=0xD index=5 enable=1

I can use arecord at 48000 16 bit just fine.

Thanks!

-Nick
