Re: ALSAmixer with Creative Extigy Card -how to select it?

I need an example of how to use the -D command in aplay/alsamixer
Can you give an example of the command, preferably for the Extigy
I have got buntu to list the devices:

Maybe I am not selecting it properly
Can someone please give an example of how to select my card is it using :
AlsaMixer v1.0.17
Usage: alsamixer [-h] [-c <card: 0...7>] [-D <mixer device>] [-g] [-s] [-V <view>] [-a <abst>]
or 'aplay'??????????????

Hi, I received a file from you by private email that showed that you had
run http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh but that the script had
complained that you didn't have wget version 1.82 or later installed.

I don't know what GNU/Linux or other ALSA-supported platform you are
running on, but wget should be available via your package manager.

If you can install wget and re-run the script, it should be possible to
help you further.

Please post to the alsa-user list rather than private email so that
others can help you and when a solution is found, you can help others.
