Ok I have a computer with a fresh install of ubuntu 8.10 amd 64 installed. The problem is with my emu 1212m that worked some what when I had ubuntu 8.10 x86 installed. When I installed ubuntu 8.10 amd 64 ver., no sound module where loaded, for the sound card.
