I want to use my Linux alsa to output to a SPDIF speaker, my VIA 1708B can't work. Can you guys recommend some very easy to use ones so that I can buy? I have searched some cards, can you also confirm if it can be easily used? Thanks.

Creative X-FI Surround 5.1 (USB)
Creative Audigy Value (PCI)

I am quite willing to use ALSA to drive my sound life... please help me to choose a right SPDIF card, thank you very much!
