Problem with ALC262 on Intel 82801G

I've got problem with ALC262 on Intel 82801G in Sony aio VGN-G11XRN/B.

The speakers output volume is too low. One has too put his ear on the keyboard to hear something at max volume level. Headphone output is ok.

Alsa lib version is 1.0.19
Linux is Gentoo 2.6.28 r1

Putting any of ALC262 presets ("model=") doesn't help, neither helps maxing out all sliders in alsamixer under any of these presets.

Under "model=auto" alsactl init complaints with:
Unknown hardware: "HDA-Intel" "Realtek ALC262" "HDA:10ec0262,104d1800,00100100 HDA:14f12c06,104d1700,00100000" "0x104d" "0x8208"
Hardware is initialized using a guess method

Similiar problems with the same hardware are described here, but there's no aparent resolution:

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
