Hi Folks, I have a nvidia 0774 chipset sound card that isn't recognized by the latest debian 2.6.26-1-amd64 kernel. I'm debating over whether to install nvidia's whole driver set or try to get it working with the debian installable stuff. I am looking at the "Alsa Troubleshooting Wiki" which used to cover every problem I ever had, and the solution. And it would perhaps still, if the alsa docs weren't missing from the website. http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php/TroubleShooting In particular, this part: <quote> The main ALSA website then contains a list of those chipsets and the required drivers. with a href=http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/ </quote> but currently, that link goes to an open directory with nothing but a subdirectory containing api docs.
