I have to run:
alsamixer -c 0
to get all the controls and then set Center/LFE Jack to Front Output or Mixer Output.

I have Ubuntu 8.10 running on a Gateway M625. ALSA doesn't seem to be set up right because I get no audio out of the speakers, but I do when I plug headphones into the microphone jack! On earlier versions of Ubuntu I was able to tweak alsamixer to get output (I don't even remember how anymore), but now my alsamixer only has one bar for Master.
I ran alsa-info.sh and got this output:

Can someone help me to reconfigure ALSA to send my audio to the right places. Or any ideas to help me troubleshoot.
Thanks,
