I have an acer aspire 4930 for which the headphones don't work. I found this particular patch :
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.alsa.devel/58115 which seems to be addressing my problem. I downloaded the latest source from alsa-project and grepped for "acer 4930" but looks like it hasn't made it yet.Can someone guide me as to how to get my headphone work?
