Hello, I just tried the latest alsa git version from 2008-11-06 ( alsa-driver commit: da5709eb691c6955c20302c252e680207d373096 alsa-kmirror commit: 2119886fce89d198ca0563fe3cf9cf4b705a9d8b ) Unfortunately, sooner or later it will crash and all sound-related programs will hang. The kernel gives a page allocation failure for whatever alsa-using application caused the crash.
