Hi there I have exactly the same issue. I have the Asus P5Q3 Deluxe motherboard
and the manual says it is a AD2000B audio CODEC. Is this a case of the
alsa-driver incorrectly detecting the CODEC or is it simply not supported in the
current alsa-driver-1.0.18rc1?

Are there any developers that could comment please?
