Dear Rene, Following another post at alsa-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, I added "alias snd-card-0" and "snd-ens1371" to /etc/modprobe.conf. Also, I thought you would like to know that sound *input* does work under alsa-- I tested my mic with audacity and you could see the graphic lines there as I spoke. You could also see the lines during playback, but with silence. There are four different alsa playback options in audacity and I tried each one with silence. Perhaps this will help shed light on the issue. As always, thank you for your help and best regards, Landis Making the world a better place one message at a time. Check out the i'm Talkathon. |
