Mike,
I've used the sudo ./install, but I still get the same error msg.The following warnings occured:config.status: WARNING: Makefile.conf.in seems to ignore the --datarootdir settingrm: Entfernen von „/dev/snd“ nicht möglich: Is a directorylibtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-sbase.la'libtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-ac97.la'libtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-hda.la'libtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-python.la'config.status: WARNING: alsaconf/po/Makefile.in seems to ignore the --datarootdir setting35 übersetzte Meldungen, 1 unübersetzte Meldung.34 übersetzte Meldungen, 1 ungenaue Übersetzung, 1 unübersetzte Meldung.
Do you know what this "--datarootdir" means? And, is there something wrong with /dev/snd?
Further, the ./install wrote the following msg:*** NO PREDEFINED KERNEL COMPILER IS DETECTED*** Assuming the same compiler is used with the current system compiler.
*** Please make sure that the same compiler version was used for building kernel.
Is this the point? Do I need a "predefined kernel compiler"??
Further, I get the msg:WARNING!!! The mixer channels for the ALSA driver are muted by default!!!**************************************************************************You would use some ALSA or OSS mixer to set the appropriate volume.
Can I ignore this warning?
Let us repeat which packages are needed:libsound2-devlibncurses5-dev...then using the following command:apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-generic libncurses5-dev
Is there something more I need?
Thanks, Dirk T.
