Routing BT87x capture output to soundcard

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

Does ALSA provide a means for getting audio off a BT878 TV card and feed it
to an onboard sound solution? The little cable I previously used is no longer
an option, because the onboard sound does not have a suitable header to
connect the cable to.

I'm using the BT87x capture driver, which provides two capture devices (one
digital and one analog) for the audio of the TV card. Is it possible to use
some combination of ALSA plugins to permanently route the data from the BT87x
capture driver to the onboard sound (for listening)? If so, I would
appreciate any pointers.

Cheers,

	- Udo
