Greetings list! Congratulations to everyone who received audio gear or money for gear this Holiday season! Myself, I received a Behringer Guitar Link UCG102 Guitar/USB Interface: http://www.behringer.com/UCG102/index.cfm?lang=eng The CD Rom included with the unit has Guitar Amp Combo software, for Win/Mac, but it expires after 30 days. Since Audacity is also included on the CD Rom, I decided to try the UCG102 with Audacity on Linux. Success! I was able to record, playback, and play through with the UCG102. I was also able to use Ecamegapedal with the input and output specified on the command line: ecamegapedal alsa,hw:1,0 alsa,hw:1,0 Jackctl crashes when I try to use it with the UCG102, but overall, I am very happy with using it Linux/ALSA.
