A 64bit jackd does not accept 32bit clients. That's an internal jack
problem. You will need to start jackd in the 32bit chroot, and connect
to the 64bit instance of jack via netjack. So you need a netjack enabled
jackd on both, your 32bit install and the 64bit install

Or if your distro has good multilib setup, compile a 32bit jackd.
