Look in /usr/src/linux/Documentation/sound/alsa/ALSA-Configuration.txt under the sdn-intel section and see if there are any hints or parameters you might try to set. The problem is that the manufacturers using the HDA Intel seem to be in a competetion to see who can produce the most incompatible implimentations of that sound system. > be blue.
