I've built a snd_cs5530 module for an embedded system running a minimal 2.6.21.5 linux kernel. After running modprobe snd-cs5530 the /proc/asound directory is populated and /proc/asound/cards says a 5530 card is installed. However, /proc/asound/oss/sndstat says:- Installed Driver Type 10: ALSA emulation Card config CS5530 Audio at 0x40011000 Audio devices: NOT ENABLED IN CONFIG This last bit doesn't sound too good. What config is it talking about? - do I need something in /etc/asound.conf or is it referring to options given to the ./configure (because I explicitly ran this with --with-oss=yes). I also have tried setting CONFIG_SND_OSSEMUL in the configuration of the kernel itself, but that hasn't helped either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
