I am wondering if anyone knows the status of the sound on the above machines? They seem to use the Intel Hda sound chipset. On the NS1 with Mandriva 2007 live ( 2.6.17 kernel) I only get two ouput sliders ( Master and PCM) and no input although the system is supposed to have a builtin microphone. I have not had a chance to try the NS5. -- William G.
