Problem with saa7134 module

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello.

I have a TV tuner card in my system that is based a Philips saa7134 chip.

To use it, I have to do

modprobe saa7134 alsa=1

to enable alsa sound. However, when I do that, I get in dmesg

saa7134 ALSA driver for DMA sound loaded

After that, the saa7134-alsa module is locked and cannot be removed (rmmod
doesn't work), and audio doesn't work with the TV card.

Any hint appreciated.
