I'm using linux-2.6.21-gentoo-r4
and ALSA v1.0.14cr2
looks like everything is loading...
I dont hear any sound and I dont see any reference to
the ADAT channels in ALSA mixer?
I want to have the 8 ADAT channels coming into the
1212m and monitor out on two of the 1212m outputs.
Physically, everything is cabled ok, (boot in XP,
makes sound)
I went into alsamixer and turned everything up.
I dont understand why I see references to Surround,
Center. as opposed to specific ADAT channels?
what am I doing wrong? appreciate any help.
the how-to on 1212m drive says testers are needed for
ADAT features.. let me know what to do! :-)

Also, I'll probably turn off the SiS sound in bios
jsut to simplify everything.
