Hy all!

I have a Lenovo N100 07686VG laptop (see info there:
http://www5.pc.ibm.com/europe/products.nsf/$wwwPartNumLookup/_TY06Vxx?OpenDocument),

with an Intel ICH7 card and Analog Devices AD1986A chipset
(http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0,2877,AD1986A,00.html). It works fine
with snd-hda-intel (its quite noisy on higher output levels, but I can
step over it), but I can't find any trace of S/PDIF settings. My main
question is that how can I setting up the line out to works as S/PDIF.
As I heard, I need an jack-to-RCA converter cable, but how can I set the
card to provide the necessary output format? Or is it supported only by
the chip, but not the card?

Thank you for your help:

Zoltan Kiss
